Certaintly these objects could go from forward to backwards instantaniously but how about left to right or viceversa
but how about turning right to left or making banking turns. Remember their length is from 100 to 500 feet long!!!
So cargo and/or aliens could be stored in mass but there shape would be hard to turn quickly.
Perhaps the shape of these could be like our dirigibles but then again even man made ones had trouble in turns.
Also if their technology is so far advanced from ours maybe they could become invisible or maybe too,
they might be able to travel in time.
What is your thought on this and why the shape? Let us know your thoughts, please?

So much speculation........so few 'certainties'!
'Likely'..........two or more purposes, involved.
Long range observation, temporary or permanent storage of 'taken' items and/or people, incl. animals and
plant life. Storage and launching of smaller, scout craft, general capability to house and transport great numbers of
aliens, incl. various types. Major research space potential where many tests and samples can be taken at one
time.
Personally, I find it hard to believe that some of these 'cigars' are a mile or more, in length.
Let's remember reports from experiencers........... "Prior to entering the craft (object) it seemed small, e.g.as
big as a car,
about 30 ft. long (or diameter), as big as a small or medium plane. When I found myself inside, it was gigantic,
massive,
etc."
Point being, nothing ever seems to be, as it seems!
P.S. If it is at all possible........an addn. capability of the cigars would be intergalactic travel.

These craft are most likely starships for universal travel and carrying supplies and
personnel to various destinations. Some of the smaller ones, the 100 to 500 feet long ones may be mother
ships carrying scout saucers.
BUT - - - as the majority of responders stated, we really don't know.
We can only speculate based on logic, hopefully, what makes sense, that is, if any of this makes
sense - - - time will tell.

Hi Folks:
Some of these craft look to me as though they're the equivalent of aircraft carriers.
I have read somewhere that they can hold 150,000 saucer-shaped craft each.
With that amount of storage space it would seem possible to transport many, many thousands of beings.
With this kind of technology at their disposal, there must be alien groups that make us look like kindergarten pupils
in comparison.
Let's hope they respect our right of ownership of this planet.

These cigar shaped craft are very interesting! And when we so often
link the disked shaped craft associated with the UFO sightings being
reported in the media. I think that if we are truly being visited by beings from
many places in space then we must be open to the many different shapes
witnessed in sightings representing the diverse intergalactic
cultures.
Here on our very doorstep, there are some craft reputed to be so big as
to be able to hold many visitors!! If that many are in the neighborhood
so to say then it must surely be saying that there is a peaceful intent
on their part because I reckon by now if they wanted to they could
have taken this planet over many years ago!!

Thanks for your comments. I think that the cigar shape can be used for many things. All of your input is great.
Keep thinking, keep questioning, keep your mind open and never trust the government. They are the real enemies to us.
Like I said in one of my articles, if the aliens landed on the White House lawn they would say,
"No intelligent life here!"

I'm guessing to what I have seen.The Cigar shaped craft are like a shuttle, with passengers on board that are
sight seeing our planet and shifting to any given time and space.
I have seen one move like a tic across the night sky in miles within 5-7 seconds.
Green and red lights rotating under the front and back-brilliant white in colour. Shaped like a torpedo,quite amazing.
Witnessed Canada's Wonderland June 21,2003 9:55pm. with three witnesses.
