The following report comes from Richard our reader in UK, who
on November 3, 2007
observed a string of bright lights coming up from the ground.
Richard writes:
Before I start, let me say I had not
previously read your site or the reports in the local newspaper about similar sightings in September:

On Saturday 3rd November I was coming into Cheltenham from Leckhampton at about 8.15pm and saw what appeared to be a
string of really bright lights that at first looked like they were coming up from the ground, but as we
(I was in the car with my mother who also saw the lights) dropped lower the lights were in fact higher
in the sky and fairly evenly spaced out... five triangular shapes that pulsated with a really bright firey glow

That's the best way I can describe it -
the intense light seemed to be moving as a fire would do so made me wonder if it was Chinese lanterns.
|
But after reading of the earlier sightings in September these do sound like the exact same thing.
The front three broke the line up to reform abreast as they headed off towards Leckhampton.
I did stop the car and get out to listen
for aircraft noise... there was none at all.

Grabbed a quick photo - attached - but doesn't reveal a whole lot.
I did report the incident to Cheltenham police and thought you may also be interested in hearing about it.

2007 UFO Data Conference

more boomerang shaped but very smooth. The top side was made of what appeared to be a highly reflective gold colored metal.
