Large Object over Chalk Mountain, Colorado, 1967
Robert Rinker, a field technician at a weather station on Chalk Mountain, Colorado,
found this unidentified large object on his negative after he shot a roll of film in the area
on March 22, 1967.
In 1946, the Climax station near Chalk Mountain became the High Altitude Observatory and was closed
officially in 1972, after 32 years of operation.
