The "Star of Bethlehem" has fascinated Christians and baffled astronomers, historians, and theologians
for many centuries, but it is mentioned only once in the Christian Scriptures, namely in the Gospel
of Matthew.
The "Star of Bethlehem" was a guiding light for the wise men. It indicated that something extraordinary
was going to happen - the Birth of Jesus Christ, Our Lord.
Why is such a great event mentioned only once in the Biblical texts?
Was it an unusual, but natural astronomical event or something of artificial origin...?
