When a door opened on the side of the object and Michalak heard voices within
he walked over, requesting communication in various languages but receiving
no response. Indeed any occupants inside ignored him completely and "shut
the door in his face", leaving him to examine the outside of the craft.
Michalak found it was still very hot; the glove he was wearing burned
and melted when he touched its surface and at this moment a blast of hot
air was forced out of an exhaust vent near him, catching him in the chest
and causing him considerable panic when it set his clothes alight.
Shortly after this the craft took off....
