Photographs of Mars can be controversial. Some demand more investigation in my opinion.

I would like to introduce this photograph taken by the Mars Global Surveyor for several reasons. For those who would like to see an actual image of existing extraterrestrial life on another planet, I think this is likely an example of this. To me, there is life on Mars currently.

I have found many images of what looks like various forms of vegetation, and many objects and formations that look to be the result of the actions of life itself. This is not the best one, and many more photographs I have found of Mars collaborate what is shown in the sections below.

As with many of the images that have anomalies in them, once you find an area of interest, over time you tend to find more than one example of an anomalous object in the photograph. Such is the case in the following image.

I usually include these two links for the Mars Global Surveyor photographs. The first is of the full image, and the second has many details that cover some of the questions people ask, like location, time, scale, angle, distance, etc..

This first section from the upper half of the full image has dark formations that look to be some kind of vegetation. I have considered other options such as burn marks, dried mud, deposits etc., but I think that vegetation best fits the example shown. Please download the full image from the link provided.
Follow along the boarders between the dark and light areas slowly and carefully, and notice how the edges curl upward in some instances, such as shown in the section below, and in other cases the strands look like root structures.
See how this dark matter covers the ground in a blanket-like manner, and how it has a texture similar to vegetation.
I have not ruled out the possibility that vegetation on Mars may be different than that found on Earth.

As you look closer at the full image, more details can be seen. The formation in this next section looks very much like an existing, flowing river of liquid water. I have compared many of the Mars images to images photographed from satellite of Earth, and in some instances the similarity is great. Google Earth is a useful tool you can use to compare formations on Mars to those of Earth.

Please notice the light-colored lines in and around the marking that looks like a possible river in the section above. These markings may at first look like dried mud. When you resize and resample the photograph further, these markings seem to have geometry, and there are other objects along side of these lighter-colored lines.

I think that this is an example of some kind of roads or other forms of connection between the objects in these formations.

At further enlargement, the image section is nearing the limits of resolution. Still, some details can be seen. Please notice how the long light-colored structures pass behind some of the darker standing objects.
It is my opinion that these are intelligently created buildings of some sort. In the circle in the section below, there is what looks like a building with an elongated tower on top, like that of a steeple of some sort. There are many more formations that look like buildings and other objects of intelligent design in the full image. It seems to help if you resize and resample the photograph sections several times larger, and experiment by adjusting and saving the sections at various brightness and contrast levels. This seems to help bring out different details, and it tends to smooth out the boarders by giving more pixel depth to display the photographic data. I often end up with dozens of sections to find one that best displays the area of interest and comment in the section.

In some Mars photographs, formations that look like intelligent construction look very ancient, yet in others some formations look to be in good condition, or of fairly recent construction.

It is difficult to name and describe what is in the Mars photographs at times. I find I compromise at times to using general terms for sake of brevity and time. In the case of the road or tube-like structures, there could be many uses and I have not ruled out a possible organic element to some of the structures in photographs of Mars.

I will be contributing many more examples of a large variety of formations that are well beyond what the mainstream news outlets consider to be of interest on Mars that should collaborate some of the ideas presented here. Considering that there are likely advanced spacecraft in the skies over Earth today, I think that whether they are human or not, by one form or another of intelligent life, Mars is likely, and currently, inhabited.
