This is an official photograph of the servicemen and women at HMS Daedalus, in the base in Cranwell,
Lincolnshire. Their late comrade, Freddy Jackson should not be there with them.... but he is.
Airman Freddy Jackson was a mechanic in the Royal Air Force. His squadron served onboard the H.M.S.
Daedalus during World War I. Freddy Jackson died in an accident while he came too close to an
airplane's...
