Christmas: Long before Yeshua came to earth it was prophecized that a young maiden will become pregnant.
See Is 7 verse 14. Almah meant a young maiden (not virgin).
Long before The Christ, a title not name, meaning anointed one was born.
The scripture always called Yeshua, Jesus real name was Yeshua as the greek word was Jesus but not his real name as a Jew.
The long name of our Lord was Yahsuhua meaning "YAHWEH is our savior".
And that name was a common one in Jesus time. There were many Yeshuas in Jesus day. It was very common.
Where was the baby Yeshua born? Let us follow the event as most quoted in Luke every Dec 24-25.

Now it happened at this time Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be made of the whole inhabited world.
This census tok place while Quirinius was the governor of Syria, and every one to his own town.
Now that is interesting for anyone who ever goes to the Holy Land in Dec knows that the weather is
cold, wet and very uncomfortable to travel.

So it could not have happened in December.
Let us continue.
So Joseph set out from his own town of Nazareth in Galilee for Judaea, to Davids town called Bethlehem.
Since he was of David’s house and line, in order to be registered together with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child,
and she gave birth to a son, her first born. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger because there
was no room for him in the in the living space.
In the countryside close by there were shepards out in the fields keeping
guard over the sheep at during the watches of the night. An angel of the Lord stood over them and the Glory of the Lord
shone round them. They were terrified, but the angel said, "Do not be afraid. Look I bring you news of great
joy to be shared by the whole people. Today in the town of David a savior has been born to you, he is The Christ
(The annointed one) the Lord. And here is the sign for you you will find the baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in
a manger.
And all at once with the angel there was a great throng of the host of heaven, praising God with the words:
|
|
Glory to God in the Highest heaven and on Earth peace for those he favors.
This quote comes from the New Jerusalem Bible the authorized Bible of The Catholic Church!!!!!!
Yell me where in that version does it say the wise men were?
|
But we have to go to Matthew to get the rest of the version which is totally different from Luke.
So the story has two different versions.
The gospel of Matthew has a whole lot different version so which one is
true. First let us lokk at the common verses.
First Joseph was going to divorce her because she was pregnant.
Luke never said that. Then Matthew tells us that Joesph took Mary to his home and there she had the baby Jesus!!!!
No Magi, no sheppards. Mary gave birth in Josephs home!!!!!!
Let us also se what Matthew says about the Magi. Matthew chapter 2 says: "After Jesus had been born at Bethlehem in Judea
during the reign of of king Herod, suddenly some Wise men came from the East asking "Where is the infant King of the Jews?
We saw his star as it rose and have come to do him homage." When King Herod heard of this he was perturbed, and so was the
whole of Jerusalem. He called together all the chief priest and scribes of the people and enquired of them where the
Christ was to be born.
They told him,"At Bethleham in Judaea for this is what the prophet wrote "And you Bethlehem in the land of Judah are
by no means the least among the leaders of Judah for from you will come a leader who will shepherd my people Israel.
So what does the Bible tell us: One angel appeared not a host of angels. It was in the spring of the year as the shepards
were in the fields with the sheep and the star was moving although the oldest texts do not say that as confirmed by me with
a long conversation with a New Testament Professor at a local University that it never was written as a star.
All the
oldest texts just said, "A BRIGHT LIGHT APPEARED."
|
No movement, no myrid angels etc.
It was in the spring as no one traveled in the wet winter months and no shepards in the fields in the winter months.
Every consensus of Biblical scholars agreed on these points.
Funny also as there are a lot of scriptures that indicate that decorations refer to the Roman Saturnalia.

|
The giving of gifts, the worship of the planet Saturn(at its brightest) and the decoration of fir trees and the large
feasts and the large YULE fire that is common in the Norse countries every year at the winter months many centuries before
even Jesus was born. See the history of Christmas on the History Channel HISTORY OF CHRISTMAS on their web site. So the real story of the Christ Child is not taught by the church nor by those who hold the Birth of the Christ child as a holiday. One last thought. Who knew this:
That NO JEW today or at any time in history ever celebrated a birthday!!!!!!!
Why? What has any one ever done on the day of their birth? Nothing!!!!!!! They celebrate the day of their death!!!!!!
Why?
Because they celebrate a life that you lived. What you did how you lived and what your life meant and what you gave to the
world. That is what is important. One last verse to make you wonder upon.
Jeremiah Chapter 10 verses 1-5 tells us this;
Do not learn the ways of the nations
Or take alarm at the heavenly signs
Alarmed though the nations be at them
Yes, the customs of the peoples are quite futile;
Wood, nothing more, cut out of a forest
Worked with a blade by a carvers hand
Then embellished with silver and gold
Then fastened with hammer and nails
To keep it from moving
Like scarecrows in a melon patch, they cannot talk
They have to be carried, since they can not walk
Have no fear in them: They can do no harm
No any good either.
