My question is this: What does acrophobia have to do with UFOS?
Does it?
Any help from any you would be appreciated.
I remember falling out of a tree when I was about 4-5 years old. So I can understand my fear of heights up to about
15 feet.
But what does have to do with climbing up long flights of stairs or looking up to the top of a high building
or even getting near the edge of a cliff or over looking a mountain side?
I even am afraid to look up to a tall mountain.. That is weird.
I can not even go into a large hall with a tall ceiling.
What I am limited to is a small room with no high ceiling or a drive near a
mountain where the trees are on all sides of me and I can not see far.
Why?
I do not know.
But I do have my doubts.
I tried to hypnotize myself to bring myself back to the time when these fears surfaced.
What I found out was as mysterious as the fear of large open spaces itself.
It seemed when I "went under" that I found myself in a large black void. I was floating and there was nothing around me.
Just blackness. No walls, no furniture, no solid objects... just a whole black void where there was no gravity.
I was floating. No up or down. No left or right. Just blackness every where. Then there was these two eyes.
I call them eyes as they were like two bright lights. Two bright blue green lights. They were right beside each other.
Like eyes. I could see a center (pupils?) that were like green eyes and the blue was surrounding the green.
But I was floating. Nothing was solid. I could feel no support any where. It was like being suspended
with no wires and I had no balance and no solid object to hold on to at any time. Then these eyes came closer.
The eyes (lights) came near to me and started to surround me and I was still floating. But these bright eyes went in
circles around my whole body. At no time did I see any bodies or entities.
Just these eyes circling me. From top to bottom and encompassing me within this black confine of nothingness.
The hypnotic state was relaxing but from time to time now I go back to that place.
I think that the high mountains and the blackness of night brings back that feeling of terror.
That terror that something had me encompassed me and had control of me. Something had me me in a large tube.
There I was floating. I feel I was being tested or being examined.
The funny thing is that when I am near high buildings,
high mountain passes or large open areas this feeling comes over me again. I have to close my eyes.
Could this have been an out of the body experience? Could this have been an abduction or a test of
my mental ability to handle anti gravity? I guess I will never know but one thing that sticks in my mind is this:
When I came out of this "chamber" I had the mental image that a part of my body was wrong.
I had the mental image that something in my body was going to be operated to fix the problem.
About a year later I went in to the hospital for a 3 way by pass on my heart.
For me that was weird as I had no
symptoms of heart troubles and my Doctor did not find any symptoms of heart problems.
This was about 6 years ago.
But every time I go near a tall building, a mountain or a deep valley I have to close my eyes and/or look at the road or
I feel my self floating up and away. I feel like I am going to fall and/or going to have an abject fear that I am going
to jump.
Was/is it an abduction? Just a bad dream or a precursor to the future.
Or is it that some thing out there was testing me and keeping safe. That I will never know. Why?
Is there something or some one watching over me. I am not paranoid nor am I in fear of it. But this feeling persists to
this day. Some times at night I get out of the car and that feeling that some one or something is watching me.
But I do not fear it or get over whelmed by it. Just this nagging feeling that I am not alone. Being alone I am not.
I know that the GOD of the Universe, YAHWEH, is watching over me. I take comfort in that. I take comfort that HE who is
in me is greater then anything else in the universe.
But the universe is big and to some terrifying. The sense of being loved is in me but the sense of something else out
there is all around me and maybe rightly so. I do not fear the night but I do fear the tall buildings and the endless
void that makes me want to fall into the abyss of the darkness.
